This article presents Discrete Ordinate and Finite Volume methods for modeling radiation heat transfer processes. In order to provide a focus to this article, only the Finite Volume method is described in detail. The discrete-ordinates method and its variants are discussed where it is needed. A detailed formulation of the radiative transport problem using the finite volume method is presented. The solution methodology using the Finite Volume method is briefly described.en
