| Abstract: | The necessity of a generalized correlation for prediction of pressure drop in a gas-solid semifluidized bed is emphasized. A correlation has been developed in terms of dimensionless numbers for calculating the pressure drop. The pressure drop at the onset of semi-fluidization has been chosen as the reference. |
