dc.description.abstractAluminium-Cementite metal matrix composite was prepared by mechanical alloying of elemental iron and graphite powder followed by mixing with Al powder and sintering. XRD analysis shows Fe3C, Al and other iron carbides along with Al4C3 after sintering. SEM micrograph shows excellent compatibilility between Al matrix and iron carbide particles.en
