Abstract: | India’s rapid transition to electric vehicles (EVs) is driven by government initiatives, environmental concerns, and technological advancements. A robust EV charging infrastructure is critical for sustaining this shift. Utility score analysis provides a systematic method to evaluate the effectiveness of charging stations by assessing factors such as accessibility, energy availability, and cost efficiency. This study highlights the unique challenges of deploying EV infrastructure in India and prioritizes zones for development using utility score metrics. The results emphasize the interplay between accessibility, energy availability, and operational costs in driving strategic infrastructure expansion. |
