| Abstract: | Directing group assisted C-H activation is a potential strategy for selective functionalization of less-reactive C-H bonds. Due wide abundance in numerous natural products, pharmaceuticals and functional materials, selective functionalization of indole has gained increasing interest. Here, we unveiled the weakly-coordinating group directed Pd-catalyzed regioselective C4-H arylation, and C2-H thioarylation of indoles.
