This study explores ferrimagnetic nanoparticles (FMNPs) synthesized through co-precipitation for enhancing tomato shelf life. The FMNPs, characterized through various methods, are incorporated into packaging materials surrounding fresh tomatoes, acting as selective oxygen absorbers. Experimental results show stable cubical-shaped FMNPs with dimensions of 11.80 nm, effective oxygen absorption, and positive effects on preserving tomato quality by minimizing oxidative stress during an extended storage period.en_US
