Abstract: The outstanding electronic characteristics of heterogeneous metal-free 2D semiconductor g-C3N4 is an emerging alternative to conventional thermochemical catalysis, where they can function as highperformance photocatalysts to drive the sustainable synthesis of high value organic molecules. 1,2 Herein, we report a photocatalyst g-C3N4 , which exhibits excellent catalytic activity toward the selective oxidation of aryl methyl halide to aryl carboxylic acid, decarboxylative photooxidation of substituted acetic acids, and 3-hydroxyisoindolin-1-one(synthesis via C-C Coupling) moiety containing structural scaffolds under the shaft of sunlight and mild conditions (room temperature, atmospheric pressure, and oxygen molecules in air as a benign oxidant).
