Traffic management system plays a vital role in the presents mart city applications. In developing countries, heterogeneous lane-less traffic management is a significant challenge. This paper proposes a dual-purpose laser-based sensor configuration for vehicle classification. It classifies heterogeneous and less lane disciplined traffic based on vehicles width.
