Abstract: | In an earlier communication3, the authors have given theoretical equations for the prediction of maximum and minimum semi-fluidization velocities for liquid-solid systems based on the expanded bed voidage and voidage unction, proposed by Wen and Yu5 and Wilhelm and Kwauk4. Here, however, an attempt has been made to give correlations for the prediction of maximum and minimum semi-fluidization velocities from a dimensional approach. |
