Abstract: The paper proposes a conceptual framework for embedding generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) into digital supply chain finance (SCF) platforms. It positions GenAI as a strategic capability that addresses the limitations of traditional SCF, enabling dynamic risk assessment, proactive fraud detection, and intelligent working capital optimization. Grounded in Dynamic Capability Theory, the framework conceptualize Gen AI as a driver for sensing opportunity, seizing them through real – time decision making, and transforming SCF into proactive, intelligence – driven function. Using a design science methodology, this study develops a three- layered model and demonstrates its potential to shift SCF from automation- led efficiency to strategic value creation. Paper then concludes by highlighting competitive and inclusive potential of GenAI – enabled SCF ecosystem.
