dc.description.abstractApproximate analysis of a Sectoral Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (SCDRA) is presented here to predict the resonant frequency of different HEMmnp modes. The Mixed Magnetic Wall (MMW) model is used here for a theoretical investigation. An approximate expression is given here to predict the resonant frequency of different HEMmnp modes. For theoretical simplicity, the fundamental HEM111 mode is focused. Theoretical results are compared with simulated data (HFSS) to show the correctness of our theory for different values of dimension and relative permittivity of the SCDRA.en_US
