dc.description.abstractAn ultra-high gain DC-DC converter is derived. The proposed high-gain, high-efficiency circuit features a single switch, diodes, inductors, and capacitors. The high-gain converter is suitable for sustainable energy technologies. Steady-state behavior is examined under both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes. The voltage stress across the devices is low. The switches and diodes' voltage and current stress analysis is done to select the proper device. The ripple voltage and ripple currents are formulated to properly design capacitors and inductors, respectively. The mathematical analysis is performed for gain and efficiency calculation. The derived topology is capable of achieving higher gain without operating at excessively high duty ratio. A comparative study is carried out for various performance parameters. The prototype is validated experimentally to verify the efficacy of the proposed switched-capacitor inductor cell (SCLC) converter.en_US
