| Abstract: | This study expresses the process of generating and analyzing buck converter with resonant zero voltage switching (ZVS) integrated with three MPPT algorithms: Perturb and Observe (P&O), Incremental Conductance (INC), and Variable Step-Size (VSS) P&O. The ZVS resonant approach significantly lower switching losses and increases total converter efficiency. Each MPPT algorithm was assessed under varying irradiance conditions to compare its tracking accuracy, convergence speed, and steady-state efficiency. Simulation results suggested that, whereas P&O and INC ensure stable operation, and the VSS technique achieves quicker convergence and minimizes oscillations at the maximum power point. The proposed approach provides efficient and dependable photovoltaic power conversion. |
