Abstract: | This electronic Generally, Power delivery at unity power factor is often the design goal of grid-connected inverters. However, when the sustainable energy source isn't producing enough power because of weather variations, these inverters have a poor power factor. Power factor improvement can be done by controlling the current injected into the grid. The proposed control scheme uses FLCs to regulate the current on the d- and q-axes. The controller's efficiency for a three-phase inverter coupled to a PV source is demonstrated through creating a control architecture in MATLAB/Simulink. The results show that the controller can efficiently provide a rated root mean square voltage of 220V with a total harmonic distortion (THD) of 1.5%. |
