Abstract: | This paper investigates the effect of green growth, green technological innovations, renewable energy, and political stability on ecological footprint in India from 1985 to 2021. We use ARDL estimation and found positive effects of green growth and green technology innovation on ecological footprint, however, renewable energy and political stability have negative effects. Our study suggests implementing policies to promote green growth and green innovation to attain environmental sustainability by mitigating ecological footprints. |
