Abstract: In this study, PVDF thick films of thickness ~180 µm were synthesized by casting study method. confirmed X-ray the solution diffraction presence PVDF. Further, synthesized thick films was carried out of both α and β-phases of Raman spectroscopy of the to know the types of phases present. Surface thick films showed Room temperature micrographs of PVDF dense microstructure. variation of dielectric constant and dielectric loss with frequency (100 Hz to 1MHz) of PVDF thick films was studied. Electroactive biomaterials act as smart biomaterials in biomedical applications. PVDF/hydroxyapatite(HAP) polymeric ceramic nanocomposite is an electroactive material
