Abstract: | Supercapacitors (SCs), as an attractive energy storage device, have drawn great interests on basis of large power density, fast charging/discharging capability and good cycling performance. Transition metal compounds (TMCs) as a promising class of electrode materials can provide high capacitance from reversible faradaic reactions between electrode materials and electrolyte ions, which can store much more energy for SCs than those of carbon-based materials and achieve better electrochemical stability than those of polymer materials. |
