Chipless RFID has flourished in a new age of technological development in the realm of IoT and sensor applications .The primary factor driving the growth of RFID technology is its relative affordability and printing flexibility. Additionally, this system has user-friendly bit storing and bit transformation capabilities. Chipless RFID can also function as a passive sensor due to its diverse RF properties. In this work, a QR code and bar code based resonator is proposed to enhance the read range capability. The QR code resonator patch is made up of a number of small copper rectangular and square boxes of different dimensions and arranged over a FR4 substrate, similarly the number of calculated bars of copper is also fabricated. The backscattered signal is considered to be the radar cross section (RCS), which is obtained with three peaks for both the QR code and barcode based resonator. The bit density and bit capacity can also be calculated in order to demonstrate the tag’s originality. This QR code tag resonates at 2.48 GHz, 3.04 GHz and 4.03 GHz and bar code based resonator resonates at 2.6 GHz,4.3 GHz, 5.2 GHz, 6.2 GHz for with the definite current distribution.en_US
