dc.description.abstract | This work proposes a compact square slot antenna excited by two ports with polarization diversity. The proposed antenna consists of a radiating square slot with two orthogonally positioned perturbations acting as stubs, two rectangular slits on the ground plane, and a triangle - shaped cut in the radiating slot. When any one of the ports is given excitation, the antenna displays LHCP/RHCP. The simulation results suggest that the proposed antenna achieves dual circular polarization with an impedance bandwidth (-10 dB) of 34.85% and wide axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW) of 43.10%. This antenna is also suitable for wireless local area networks (WLAN) applications. | en_US |
