An isolated dc-dc Triple active bridge (TAB) converter comprises three active bridges interlined using a three winding high frequency transformer (HFT). The TAB converter has advantages like controllable bidirectional power flow with high efficiency, fixed frequency operation. In the present article a brief review on TAB converter is provided for its different configurations, power flow controls and applications are analysed from research works from past few years. Controls for phase-shift and duty cycle, as well as decoupled power flow management, are also discussed. Conditions for achieving zero voltage switching (ZVS) range are also discusseden_US
