dc.description.abstract | The two-dimensional stagnation point flow and heat transfer of an electrically conducting, incompressible non-Newtonian third grade fluid is considered. The effects of viscous dissipation and Joule heating on the thermal boundary layer for the two heating processes, namely, (i) with prescribed surface temperature and (ii) prescribed surface heat flux have been studied in detail shown graphically with plausible physical interpretations. A second order finite difference scheme has been adopted to solve the resulting highly nonlinear system of equations. | en_US |
